Three names are recorded against The Warmonger. A vote against each is a contribution to the organisation whose work most directly opposes the harm it documents.
What this is
The Caligulas is an independent counter-award institution. Each cycle, it names the people whose conduct in positions of power has caused the most documented harm. The public votes against them by donating.
The institution holds the contributions until the end of the cycle and then gives the money to organisations whose work directly opposes the harm. A vote against Vladimir Putin funds Ukraine. A vote against Benjamin Netanyahu funds Palestinian aid through HIAS, a Jewish humanitarian organisation. A vote against Donald J. Trump funds the American Civil Liberties Union, the largest body of lawyers in the United States fighting his administration in court.
The amount donated decides how many votes are cast. The five tiers are listed below.
